  1. your .25+ will most likely be tomorrow. can't dismiss the possibility of screw zones given the scattered nature
  2. .80 but really coming down attm. should eclipse 1" soon
  3. I guess I need to upgrade to Pro, because I only have access to the BOX radar
  4. What's with the radar lately. It's raining pretty steadily, but nada on the radar
  5. It also looked like it was dryslotting here - any idea what the final accumlations were?
  6. October snow, winter kiss of death for Tolland. lock it in
  7. Those big totals were always a pipe dream. .5-75"+ for a large chunk, maybe .25 up to pike, awt
  8. I almost turned it on did this morning, but i'm holding strong. my defense is starting to show cracks though, and the wife/child may breach the line at any moment
  9. The 12z RGEM says 48 hours of breezy conditions with periods of rain. I hope Stein has his chapstick ready
  10. regardless, has the trust in models always been this bad 24-48 hours out? it's going to be a long ass winter
  11. For selfish reasons, hoping for a good soaking. it's gonna be shite anyway with the onshore flow. hoping I can get the extra seed I put down last week to sprout soon looking like we can lock in .5+ here
  12. the dry air isn't pressing much by Tuesday, which is why the rain makes headway. I think .25 up to the CT MA border, 5-.75+ SE areas
  13. The RGEM is also wet now. that was solid for the last storm
  14. GFS is now over 1" here. Stein on hold
  15. it's going to rain Tuesday and Tuesday Night, afterwards could be stein
  16. .72 may finish with an inch.. definitely on the lower end of guidance
  17. I think the RGEM handled this pretty well. never bought the bigger amounts north. still looking like 1-1.5" here
  18. Euro still showing over 1" in southern areas for Saturday
  19. Euro and EPS get some appreciable moisture up here from Ian. we'll see if it's on crack
  20. So it sounds like capitalizing on the existence of a storm, and not other's misery? I honestly don't even watch his stuff, or have seen whatever clickbait he uses. I'm just using common sense, and saying that its more of a gray area. It's not exactly the same scenario. The real estate dude requires people to suffer in order to capitalize. Doesn't seem like a storm chaser does.
  21. Not quite unless your doing a very base level comparison. Now dig a bit deeper: Buying up real estate of directly impacted victims for individual gain VS storm chasing and gathering and collecting data to improve the understanding of tropical cyclones. so, not quite. My assumption is that Josh does not need people to suffer in order to do what he does, that's just an unfortunate reality of intense tropical storms striking populated regions. Meh
