    A lot of it is cultural norms. Selling drugs and things like that are cool in the US, even things like littering...I'm so bad ass I just threw this McDonald's bag out the window. In Tokyo when I was there it was super clean, super quiet, and pleasant. No one even talked on their cell phone in public or on the subway. Of course they have many problems of their own. People think it's all about the government to create a great society, but it's mostly the people that make that choice.

    Weekend starting to look terrible east of the river. Clouds, grey, onshore flow with periodic showers. Glad I'll be up north.

    It's more about outside. No one wants to have to put a shall on at night in the middle of summer anywhere in new England. Ruins the vibe. We have plenty of other times of the year for layers.

    Why? It's one of 3 States outside New England I'd rather live in.

    Just the day? Kinda far for that. Granted I don't know where you rest your head at night. Weather looks mint, albeit a little chilly for my tastes. @CoastalWx and @ORH_wxmanalways rage about the area but never seem to take the family up for a fun snow filled weekend.

    The problem with a debt exclusion for paving is that the roads are already falling apart again by the time you even pay off the debt.....

    How have you been holding up? Still switching on light switches when there's no power? That's what happens to me lol.

    MassDOT roads are mint. Local town roads are garbage. The problem with a "nation wide overhaul" is that there needs to be some sort of mechanism to MAINTAIN the infrastructure after it's built. The Feds come in and build these big projects and then leave.....then the community is supposed to maintain the infrastructure...but they can't and don't. Then the infrastructure fails and the Feds come to the rescue again. Round and round we go.
