    Be careful what you wish for. The gubmint could come in and mandate they make improvements and then up up up goes your bill.

    Was up at the camp this weekend....its weird. The foliage is definitely gone by, but there's still a lot of green mixed in. It's like the drought made half the tree's stressed so they turned early, but the other half that aren't stressed are going about like normal. Never seen it like that.

    Yeah being this dry, fires can easily escape into the duff. Happened to my burn pit a few years ago....woke up the next morning and the ground is smoldering all around outside the pit....I be like....ummm whaaaaaat?

    Had one nice smallie get off, but caught another one probably 2.5 lbs in Lake Armington up in NH this weekend. They're trying to get those last meals in before winter.

    Friday looks dry. Stein strikes again. Lucky to get 0.5" this week. Dig a few inches down and it'll still be dry.

    Add a bad flu season to the mix and things opening up, we could see that 3 month period again if states aren't willing to shut down again. It was never really that bad here.

    Looks like I'll miss the peak this weekend in the southern whites. Oh well. Just leaves.

    We don't need to "catch up"..... Just get us back on track from here on out we'll be fine. The trees won't know come spring that we missed out on 4 inches in summer 2019.

    I'm really not in the mood for 3" of rain. Maybe if it came over the course of a week, not 2 days. Now's a good time to plant that grass seed? Or maybe it will wash away....
