  1. I've done the same but I think his issue was he suspects water got into the gas, which basically makes it a liability for engines of any kind.
  2. Well, since a lot of trees are still loaded with leaves, at least we will be able to do some comfortable late season cleanup.

  4. That was a brutal stretch. I was in Andover at the time and I think our biggest storm was 8 or 9 inches.
  5. Does your local transfer station take it? Many towns have hazardous waste disposal programs. You could always pour it in a metal trashcan and burn it off. Lol
  6. For what was advertised as a crappy week we have pulled off two pretty nice days in a row out here. Mostly sunny, 53°.

  9. A few years back we had that amazing Thanksgiving eve snowstorm. Our ride east Thanksgiving morning to go visit my family in Chelmsford was one of the most beautiful snow drives I’ve ever taken.

  14. My brother just texted me. He runs a line crew for Verizon. An Eversource companion told him it will be a week without power for some on the Cape.

  17. Yeah and I think yesterday storm had a greater effect on the entire Cape than Bob did.
  18. My sister and folks house in Chelmsford had a tree come down on it with some damage to the siding and roof.
  19. I’ll hopefully have some pictures later but friends on the Upper Cape say Bourne, Falmouth and Sandwich are a disaster area. my parents house is OK but houses on both sides of them have trees on them. My friends in North Falmouth say the tree damage is worse than hurricane Bob!

  21. 1.8” two day rain total. Highest wind gust I could find at local Greenfield wx stations was 28mph. as we thought, run-of-the-mill nor’easter for interior folks. Good luck to all the folks with no electricity and downed trees. Hopefully the restoration process is quick for you.
  22. I’ll be interested in the morning to see what the top gust was at Orange airport. Guessing 30-35mph.
