  1. I believe that was the late month retro that slammed eastern NE with wind and rain. Like Burlington was raining while NYC piled up snow. Watching that rain snow line edge east in CT was incredibly protracted and painful.
  2. Remember when everyone melted over the NAM last Thursday? Take a deep breath folks. Sure it could cut, but it's not set in stone yet. If it's still going through Scranton at 6z Friday, we can probably meet Ray atop the Tobin.
  3. "It's a Mr. Death or something. He's come about the reaping? I don't think we need any!"
  4. A few weeks early for this trip down memory lane, but eff it. Some of the heaviest snow I've ever seen. I'm sure @Ginx snewx can attest.
  5. I just posted a radar grab in the memories thread. It was awesome, especially coming tight on the heals of that Norlun.
  6. A couple days after a bona fide norlun, we got this beast. I still remember how excited I was as the precipitation just exploded over New Jersey. Stayed up all night.
  7. 27" despite being clipped with the dry slot. Awesome storm. Not a slow mover either, as I recall.
  8. Serious question: why do they still run that thing? It's nailed one storm that I'm aware of in the past few decades. Does it have any real utility?
  9. Not many POS members either. Good to see almost uniformly deep solutions.
  10. The NAVGEM is in your big three?
  11. Anyone know anything about antecedent conditions before a frost quake? Just had a really loud boom and I can't figure out what the hell it was.
  12. I was a hair under 11" when I left for work, but that was before the accumulating snow ended. Guessing 12", but it had compacted quite a bit by the time I got home.
  13. Active is good. Let the details iron themselves out in good time. Just give us opportunities.
  14. I'm just waiting for the 80 hour NAM 925 millibar low civilization ending runs.
  15. Lol, push that thing 150 miles west and let's shut down the eastern seaboard.
  16. Man, long range is porn on the GFS. What a PNA.
  17. That's the weather equivalent of when you're a kid and mom goes away for a few days.
  18. The difference is J.Spin doesn't have to worry about fluff compacting because there's always more fluff falling to replace it.
  19. Sun’s out, guns out. What a great positive bust. I feel like I just banged the prom queen while her date was getting punch and cookies.
  20. That was the easiest double digit snow I've ever cleared. Like lake effect or Sierras blower pow. Gotta be at a foot now.
