    That's funny. All my local forecasts for amounts, which, granted, is WAY to early to put out amounts. Is over 6". My point is. Where do you get this amazing info? Seeing a raging rainstorm well N&W of NYC, and into New England? Please elaborate your brilliance in weather forecasting.

    Snow has stopped as of 3:30pm. Most accurate measurement I could get on unpaved sheltered wood surface was 1.25" Currently 31.3°

    Roads are treacherous. Ice under coating of snow. Numerous accidents on rt 23 in Stockholm and Jefferson. Also one on Canistear rd 1 block from my house. Sitting in dead stop traffic on 23 in front of old Jorgensen's restaurant. Road crews really dropped the ball on this little event.
