    Hey @RIC Airport when you post the maps and it shows the amount of snow for the four different areas in the Richmond area I think one is Richmond proper, I think one is Petersburg. What are the other two? They lineup four of them from north to south.

    6z runs looking good -GFS a different setup but still good. Euro at 144 from 6z excellent so far and it ends obviously there.

    Icon and GFS solid for Central Va. Temps close with GFS for RVA and especially south and east. But again just these 2 models one run. CMC coming in strong also only at hour 150. Edit-CMC is a beat down for most on here! Close to if not a blizzard for some.

    People can make fun of it but it's a really good point. The death of Winter on the East Coast is highly exaggerated.

    Couple of points here: 18Z European model 500 mb looks terrific. Also, since everyone has been agreeing how bad the GFS has been and most of the other models are showing a strong signal for our area, maybe the signals that show a stronger storm with all that cold air in place makes sense at this point.

    Not to sound cliché, but for the Richmond, area that's right where we want it really at this time. The ensembles should be very interesting.

    12z ICON fwiw is a blizzard for next week-midweek, with a ton of snow and GFS solid again. Just letting you know what the models are showing. Let's see how it all trends and how Euro does. No final totals yet from CMC but also coming in strong.
