    You know what's weird I remember as a beginning weather hobbyist in 2009 and the December 19 into the 20th storm was locked in early and I never ever thought it would change -and it never did at least for where I lived in King George, Virginia. Start snowing I believe late Friday night or early Saturday whatever that date was and the Tuesday before I just knew it was gonna be big and it never wavered.

    It's good-slightly better than 18z and 18z was slightly better than 12z. So I'm gonna call it a GOOD TREND. Surface temps are saving the day right now. Cold storm

    The one thing that was weird is someone said in the main thread about the ICON was "not only is it south but it's not even a storm." It's still throwing out 20" numbers to the south of us so that's not true.
