All depends on if you live on the East or west side of Methuen. The ocean plays more of a role on the east side of Methuen than it does on the west side of the city. I live on the east side of Methuen. There have been numerous times when there is snow/mix on the west side and by the time I arrived home it is raining. The junction of 93 and 213 is a transition zone for the most part. The area closer to Pelham/Dracut is the best area in Methuen to have less of an effect from the ocean.

Exactly!! ..and then he will pull his usual "who me" routine. Besides him there is only 1 other forum member who considers November to be a winter month for SNE. He's going to spend the entire winter getting his jollies by continually posting when things do not look good for fans of winter weather. The best approach is to have low expectations for the winter. Those who have high hopes for the upcoming winter are going to be constantly annoyed by him.

Back your statement up with some actual real world data/stats. And regardless if it kills more or less, don't make it seem as if the weather you enjoy is more "pure" than the weather other people enjoy. For starters you might want to check the death toll from the 2003 heat wave in Europe.

In Methuen that storm had the best rain/snow line that I have ever experienced. The line was very sharp, one side of the line pouring rain and the other side heavy snow. Usually there is a transition area with a mix of rain and snow. In that storm it was similar to stepping over a magic line.
