    So bored I went back and re-read the January 2016 Blizzard thread to remind myself what it was like on here in the Winter.

    Would rather have a torch winter and low humidity than whats going on at this point. 49 and mist here.

    What I find interesting is that wile the monster snow storms are fun to track and be a part of, (and I think someone already mentioned this) is that we don't have a legit winter of just clippers bringing the 2 inches of snow and cold hanging around. We get the cold and snow shot but then its all gone within 5-7 days and we're back in the 40's. At this point weenies (like me) would rather have this than stare at 300+hr monster model runs. I am happy there is something to track next week next week, but if it dosen't verify, no biggie. I'm certainly not cancelling winter by any means yet though. Long way to go here. Again the key is patience.

    Had a dusting on the cars , and the roads were slightly wet from our snow shower. 34 degrees. Depending on what forum you pay attention to, Winter is coming at the New Year.

    Shame that Sundays storm doesn't have the cold air. Looks like the exact same track as the 1993 storm.

    Hoping the power does not go out Sunday night during the Ealges game. Storm around the 17-18th looks... interesting on the LR.

    The jist I am getting is wait till about the 20th to really start seeing Winter kick in which is OK considering the 21st is actually Winter. Fantasy Land has a storm coming between the 14th and the 17th, but will there be cold air with it?

    Maybe it was my forecast that was right (for the most part) then. Even got a weenie tag too! Mikeymac5306 replied to ChescoWx's topic in Philadelphia Region Meh. I 'm still going with a repeat of last year. We'll be lucky to get one SECS storm. Apps runners will give the area a Couple of nickel and dime messes in January/February and that's about it.     Channel 6 did their Winter outlook last night. To summarize, they are calling for a backloaded winter which I believe many are already. 18"-24" for the Metro area. PAC will still have a hold through December then break in January. She's been spot on last three years so we shall see...
