    Yeah 6Z runs were garbage to say the least. Isn't it that you get the long range bomb, then after a day you lose it for a few days only for it to come back a week out?

    My goodness the end of that GFS run. I know it's Fantasyland and all, but that shows snow to ice to snow for 2 days.

    I like what I am seeing long range. Couple models show a long duration event. Few waves in the mix, however still 9-10 days out. We keep the side eye till Monday.

    Yeah... 06 models didn't show much for next week either. Guess we keep an eye on the MLK/ Inauguration storm.

    I would be happy with a handful of 3-6, or 4-8 inch storms throughout the year rather than one massive storm and call it a wonderful winter snow wise. Just seems lately we want to go big or go home cause those moderate boarderline SECS storms aren't as frequent. 2021 was a great year in that regard.

    Still a beautiful run with the 18Z. Not a nuke like 12Z, but we still get laid down with a HECS we would all be happy with. I do notice a thermal issue perhaps? CMC and ICON are in the neighborhood looking for the street to turn on for the GFS house party. See what the Euro does here as well as the Ensembles. I'll miss the Euro tonight.

    Euro Looks like the southern vort misses the phase and throws it off the NC/VA coast. Ukie does basically the same. I mean it's at the gates outside the neighborhood looking for it's card to get in. We'll have to see who wins out by Friday. Does the Euro cave, or GFS cave? Will the Ukie fall into place? Will the sun go down before it gets dark? These stories and more at 18Z.

    If the Euro can get in the neighborhood of what GFS and CMC are showing, we track... hard. Euro AI was right there at 6Z.

    CMC shows it just not a nuclear strike the GFS has for us. A decent hit though. But looks like its cut off.

    Yeah I have no idea what they were thinking. Would have rather gone in now while the roads weren't bad and then come home as the road crews are cleaning up. But that's why they get paid the big bucks I guess.

    24 in Exton. Light to moderate snow and covered roads. Work callled and said come in later. Would have rather been in now.
