  1. You can't just check the latest PNS, as they are just adding new ones that weren't on previous reports. There several reports from between 1-3pm...probably a few more inches afterwards, depending on proximity to that mega ORH band. The 10 in coventry from noon is super suspect - me and Iowa storm are both only 5 miles away from that reporting location to the south/southeast and we both had amounts consistent with the second coventry report further NW of 7" at 2pm. The 5" Storrs one seems low, but is from a trained spotter. I saw a report of 10.2" final from Staffordville at like 930pm, but they were closer to the ORH band, and just further east in general.
  2. I'm not as big an mjo guy as I probably should be...3 good, 4 bad?

  4. Yes, that's how snowfall works....usually not average seasonal snowfall divided by 120 per day
  5. Of course you should could Feb 13. Or would you count the snow you got on a trip to Aspen Colorado as a backyard hit?
  6. What happens if you do that, then a bunch of new obs came in and it becomes clear that the first obs you guestimated on were crap measurements in a drift or measuring roof snow? Do you correct or just stay the course?
  7. I have no idea what you guys are talking about. None. None whatsoever.
  8. They are hoping if they keep it up long enough, ALY will just take it.
  9. Yeah, it looked north of the past few runs to me.
  10. My property is also surrounded by trees though, so that I'm sure helps a lot.
  11. It wasnt that hard to find consistency in my yard. And I came in very close to the other guy in town. Dont measure in a drift, dont measure next to a building. Driveways didnt hurt totals because it was so cold. I could see it being harder in an urban environment though.
  12. Seriously...starting to feel like march 2013 for him
  13. The only 0z model I can find that has it is the fv3 hires, and it's 75 miles too far west lol.
  14. I'm having a hard time fully believing the evolution. Seems like these things always try to morph.
  15. Really hope we get some of these as we head towards spring - 10x better than 10" of fluff imho
