    Where did THIS come from!?! One heck of an electrical storm going on here now. Last I saw of forecast discussion from NWS Blacksburg at noon was they were gonna put a SMALL chance of storms to the east (of Lynchburg) due to a coupe models showing that possibility. Nothing for here. Now under a warning and it is a rockin'!

    After the beautiful and perfect past 3/4 days, only way to properly describe this morning is Y U C K. Already 68.3/62.8 at 7 am. BLAH, Roanoke was 77 at 7 am!!! NUTS. Supposed to be 88 here today. I want a rewind to Saturday please. But on a serious note, it was a wonderfully cool May, so one month of the HHH was tossed.

    Outstanding past 24 hours. For those screaming for 'normal', last two days and today is for you. A slightly chilly start here, 42.5 currently, low was 41.8. NO WHERE near record of 33 in 1984, AKA as the year of no or very later 'maters, as we had back to back very frosty 33 degree lows on 5/31 and 6/1 1984.

    The SPHL runs a 56 game regular season, it is just about right. Usually starts last week of October and playoff champ is crowned in early May.

    Yep, we were up there (Mt Evans) 2 years ago in mid August and it was snowing and 31 degrees lol! Crazy. We didn't stay long after it started, that is NOT a road you want to traverse with snow/ice on it, and it was accumulating.

    Thanks 007. Actually yesterday she would have turned 55. Hard to believe it has been 7 years. She loved NH and northeastern VT. We almost bought a 2nd home near Burke in 2005/06.

    So your HOA fees WILL be adjusted, right? That would be question 1, of many.....

    I have a 93 with 111K on it. Just put 800 bucks into it for tie rod ends and idler arm, new front brakes and such. New front basically. Still runs like a top. Cabs corners rusted up a bit, had those replaced 4 years ago. Otherwise she has cost me nothing but to drive it.

    Must have been colder back here, all the stations that old or older have 1917 WAY below anything else. Several stations go back into 1890's.
