  1. is that northern stream dropping in harder?
  2. I honestly do want that. Then I want the storm to track to a position near MVY while deepening to 955mbs. I honestly want a blinding, wind driven snowstorm west of the river, a sloppy mess from the river to EWB, while the Cape surges to 60f in a foggy dry-slot.
  3. The 973 east of DE gets my vote.
  4. Looks like a good surface for ENE to me...
  5. Canadian drops the hammer at 144.
  6. Euro ensemle mean appears to be a bit east of the op, but within the "noise bars" at this point.
  7. lol, 06 gfs, hour 384 makes this winter a smashing success for all.
  8. What are you looking at other than the next week or so? The AO is forecast to fall of a cliff after that. We will get help from the arctic, and it is far from too late. I am sure you remember 1993...a dog of a winter until March.
  9. Remember 1960, or even 1993 which was crap down here until March. This isn't over. Have we ever had "great Leap Year blizzard"?
  10. Ye of little faith, so the space ship has not arrived to take us to our utopia on the planet Remulak, but when it does come, it will be bigger and more beautiful than ever!
  11. For those who have the EPS days 11-15, does that anti-cyclone over Greenland show any signs of strengthening?
  12. When everyone capitulates...it's time to buy.
  13. Yeah, OK....can this hold for the next 46 runs?
  14. This isn't the worst thing I have ever seen:
  15. The year after a solar minimum. Epic blocking fest reminiscent of 2009-2010, with storms tracking 75 miles further north due to the HC expansion.
  16. The grouping literally near Bermuda has to be specious.
  17. Silence for 15 minutes. Is everyone as confused by euro at 102 as I am?
  18. If euro is showing its old bias, and is just half-a-day slow ejecting the energy from the desert SW....
  19. Will lack of isentropic lift be a problem with this storm no matter where it tracks? I can see a case of weenie band or nothing at all.
  20. Miller As are the best bet for SWCT. With Miller Bs, the low tends to redevelop tight to the NJ/DE shore, sending the first mega band through NJ into the Hudson Valley. Then you can get a triple point re-development further east, which bombs eastern New England...leaving us in the pork-hole.
  21. That innocuous low that goes off the SC coast and out to sea tomorrow does heroic work by looping around and ending up in the 50/50 position at just the right time!
