Gotta go out and measure and consider whether I need to shovel or wait for the torch later in the week. Most of the snow since about 10AM has not been particularly wet but lots of sagging of limbs. May go out and bop some snow off of the smaller more vulnerable ones. Amazing storm! Next window is 11/15-30.

Snow increasing in intensity again. I should exceed 4 inches. Simply amazing! First official freeze at BOS today. Very unusual to go early in a La Niña winter.

Measured 3 inches 10 minutes ago. Walked a mile in it. Snow coming down now lower water content.

I can’t believe I’m saying this on 10/30. Moderate snow-eyeballing maybe 2 inches and radar says plenty more in the pipeline. Fukking wow! For me, biggest October snow since Halloween event when I was really young-maybe 70 years ago in NNJ and according to my mother.

There’s only one poster hoping for power issues. His wife and daughters went where there was power in 2011 but he loved the 48 degree dark house for a long spell. Go figure....
