  1. But it’s is doubtful that this won’t keep ticking up to go time.
  2. When Leon speaks, models listen. Today should be fun.
  3. Tick tick tick. Tonight’s euro gives some legit albeit light winter to the pike region. More ticks tomorrow or will gfs and euro meet in the middle?
  4. The gfs gave is 12+ in its last few cycles. Did not do the 2 footer though.
  5. I feel for you Kevin. You’ve spent all the time since the storm wringing your hands over the possibility of losing it. If it goes, it will return!
  6. Maybe a teensy weensy colder but very similar to 12z
  7. Euro doesn’t look like it’s going to blink one iota to me
  8. Forget Reggie. 12z euro had maximum temperatures in the 40s. Believe me I’d love to lose a big chunk of this pack-it would make my outdoor life much easier but I’m not sure it happens.
  9. It’s not much of a snow eater though-there isn’t an all out torch.
  10. George, Navgem sucks, cmc sucks. Pick a new 2. If it was me I’d pick gfs and euro and rotate one of the other bad models to complete your 3 legged stool. Maybe start with uncle but make sure he’s off the sauce.
  11. One thing I was always careful about was treating the people who could go in the back room and spit in my food respectfully.
  12. George, long term average for BOS is 43.3 but the 30 year normal thanks to exorbitant totals in the past 3 decades is 48.7! Season to date is 36.6 so ratter is off the table. A one footer plus a 2 footer in the same month cancels the rat imho.
  13. Hmmm...was using monthly charts in the same source.....not sure...
  14. Step in the right direction. Euro in 3 hours should be interesting presuming gfs stays cold.
  15. I kind of agree with Will on the 3/6-8,1996 comparison. Arguably that storm while progged much warmer than verification put BOS into 100+ range.
  16. Question if ORH and BDL can make it. Maybe given today’s minimum. Through 1/30: BOS: -2.0 BDL: -1.7 ORH: -1.6 PVD: -2.0
  17. Sure looks like the pattern rocks on for the foreseeable future.
  18. Once again you must be taught. 0.5 qpf zr doesn’t mean 0.5 inch of ice. It means the qpf falls as zr. Eg: the damaging 2008 event didn’t produce 3 inches of ice but up to 3 Inches qpf which fell as zr.
