That dark strip over me hadn’t moved in 15 mins. Moderate snow. The band to the south has caught up as it moved north When bands collide

Right along north part of beltway had a darker green band and that was 0.5”ph stuff and another approaches. I am rewhitened

Onset of light snow at 10:28pm. It’s light and almost steady with a few nice flakes. 32F

Winds producing some snownados now

DCA did well last night just being 2-3F milder than surrounding lows. Winds never let up so did not get any radiational comparison and the winds do mix things up to a better evenness

And we did say some hits of real cold but this looks longer lasting than I thought. Great assessment from you in October.

Everybody is pretty equal with snow cover and winds now so comparisons are solid, Then later like you said calming down and radiating. Get both type of samplings as to winds with everyone snow covered. Annapolis has big body of water . Fun observation time. My 24.3 at 9:30 is easily the coldest for time of the season

The drop rate in temps is impressive and I’m wondering how much that will continue or level off 24.5 here and I didn’t know it was still so windy so got out to the shed no coat but getting back inside rough and had some bad shivering

9pm Temp falling fast tonight down to 24.5 and wind chill 12-15. 6.5 on snowboard and lowest yard measurement was 5”

Right now the pattern trumps models which are not current pattern compliant . Things are unusual now with the cold and snow and I don’t think that changes this weekend

It’s not juiced but its angle of approach historically gets it to us. Expect 2” north beltway and north and 3-4 south of beltway
