  1. Finally getting started in Boone let’s see what happens
  2. Still quiet in Boone. Figure that will change soon
  3. Model consensus for the northern mountains shows a good 3-4 inches for the northern areas in this subforum for tonight/early am . question is at what point does the changeover occur as that could affect it. IDK how I feel about the NWFS yet, I'm sure the southern areas will jackpot from that, but for some reason they haven't been as favorable for the northern areas in the past year or so, so I'm not banking on it yet.
  4. RGEM and CMC both have the current LP stronger than current obs show. *what I'm reading in the MA thread*
  5. CMC looked good for the NWF as well, even gets the foothills good on the north side.
  6. 12z para continues with the south trend with the coastal low, I'm guessing the closer to the coast and earlier it gets going, the better wraparound we have?
  7. ICON comparable, little less on the totals.
  8. RGEM is juicy for the northern guys, heavy wet 7-8 inches before the changeover.
  9. Well the 3k Nam look a bit better as well, though a lot of the accumulation is still sleet/Frz rain, but still better overall than the 6z.
  10. The WRF models agree so don't take my hopes away . I'm just trying to find hope that it won't be as icy so I can enjoy my day off.
  11. HRRR looking good for the high County, has most of the area in the 4-6 range and less mixing through 9 am tomorrow. Granted it burned me big time for the last event so taking it was a bag of salt.
  12. Latest SREF plumes for Boone (With two big dog outliers taken out): 1 inch.
  13. 3kNAM is north, which is following other guidance at this point of pulling more north. I'm ready for spring. I'm tired of trying to sell trucks in the cold.
  14. I've very much dropped my expectations by a lot for this weekend.
  15. Little early for SREF plume guidance, but already showing an average of around 4 inches for Boone for this weekend.
  16. Half a dusting in Boone. Here's to hoping Sunday is worth waiting for, cause last night wasn't it for me lol
  17. Don’t worry we in the same boat. It’s trying to switch here but still a mix
  18. Still rain in Boone, have a buddy on 105 and it’s turning white on the Avery side of Foscoe. In other news, I can’t see the video above, anyone know why lol.
  19. Minus a bust factor that is of course still in place, think the northern counties are sitting pretty for tonight. I’ll be out and about in the truck so hopefully get a nice little thump.
  20. I’m just gonna be quiet on the Euro for this Sunday.
  21. Furry you say? It's a bit too early in the evening
  22. Thread already started? Cool, I'll warm up the theatre and get the popcorn ready for this thread.
