    the fact that it's not snowing. and the time of year, considering prime climo is..well...now. granted like Mack has been mentioning, February 7th is trying to spoil that. But besides that it hasn't even been close to snow in these areas so far.

    CMC and GFS both bringing that upper LP down quicker. That's a big no no if we want something nice next weekend.

    From what I can tell, it looks like the energy from our low mixed with the LP coming from the north, and as always, never results in anything good.

    I'm still gonna sit on this thread for a few more days. Yea the cold and stormy signal is there, but it's just as far away as it's ever been, so I'm not gonna budge on excitement until its inside 6 days.

    NOAA's FV3-GFS weather model received some upgrades on Friday, hopefully enough improvement to move into operations in early summer. Time to seriously compare to operational GFS and monitor good/bad aspects. - Ryan Maue

    Just witnessed Tennesee beat Kentucky by 19 in front of 21,000 people. Absolute amazing game.

    Used to live in Indian Trail before moving to the mountains, the number of times I watched it rain while charlotte and NW got sleet or snow was agonizing.

    The Bears had one job. beat the #6 Eagles. I wanted that so I would watch the Saints tear apart the Cowboys this coming Sunday in the revenge game. But nope, gotta watch my favorite team go against the only other team I was pulling for in the playoffs go at it.
