Crazy, hit and miss showers. I have gotten an inch of rain in the past week.

The Newark area seems to be the hottest place in the summer for the NY metro area, maybe parts of the city can be as hot. As for Newark, no surprise with all the concrete, industrial facilities and missing out on the sea breeze.

84 the high here, felt a little uncomfortable. Looks like fathers day weekend will be pleasant to even cool at night and dry.

85 degree high here today, didn't expect that.

Another thing you can add to what you mention, is, we name storms now that would not have been named in the past.

Looks like lots of rain for south Florida but probably not much wind. We shall see. Surprised about putting up tropica storm warnings before there is a tropical storm but I quess they want to cover themselves. 

Picked up .60 inch of rain in about 25 minutes, similar to last night without the thunder and lightning.

.93 inch of rain from last nights storms.

Just picked up .60 inch of rain in a half hour.

Getting some good thunder and lightning here, only .13 inch of rain so far.

95 yesterday, currently rain and 59 degrees

At 9:51 P.M. it was 73 in Central Park and 90 at Newark.

Down to 69.4 here. In the upper 70s less than an hour ago.

Just had a wind shift here.

Yea seems to be just west of New Haven and Riverhead.

Local weatherlink station in Riverhead now showing ENE wind and temperature went from 91 to 88 in last few minutes.

Reached 95 here but now down to 91 as the wind has switched to southerly direction.

94 here, hottest of the season

looks like relieve won't make it to the city until this evenlng.

92 here. Humidity not making it feel much different than the temperature.

I saw it was 82 in Boston at 8A.M. and 62 at 9A.M. Didn't realize most of the drop was in 10 minutes, incredible. Already 88 here but does not feel extremely humid.
