    If this comes in as modeled then tomorrow the alarm bells need to be sounded. Cities, towns and the state's need to put the blizzard plan in effect asap .

    I noticed that a good chunk of the snow is Tuesday during daylight hours into Tuesday night. That's sooner than many forecasts said previously.

    Yeah I'm not saying that the Canadian is correct with 10" in Boston, but it seems more "conventional' than anything the gfs put out tonight.

    Canadian seems more realistic than the GFS with it's 20+ at the coast.

    GFS does go apeshit from about hour 75 to 85. Long enough to bring the goods. Of course if that low position is off by a bit... well I'll worry about that 00z.

    True but if you look at the map above I find that map extremely bold also. keep in mind these are not forecasts (as the tv mets say) just what the midels are showing.

    That's been mentioned on several tv stations. They do say that inside 128 is mostly rain however.

    The NBC forecast did mention that Tuesday night would be the time the coast could get it's accumulations.

    We do also have this guy at NBC who I have never heard of, throwing the caution flags for the coast.
