High of 31.6 today after a low this morning of 20.8. I figured this would be one of those days where the temperature struggled. Wondering if the winds will go calm tonight and jeopardize my Christmas Eve 2022 low of 7 imagine if we had a little snow cover. It would make a run towards 0 tonight.. Currently 24/6 @ 6:05PM

you get used to it. To me, the big problem is getting snow then wishing for more right after- it's very addicting. But when you have even less snow, it is less addicting and you learn to appreciate it when it comes

Welcome. I moved to NC from Long Island in late 2018. There is a huge temperature variation from night to day when compared to long island. Just this past november, I've had mornings start in the 20s and highs in the 70s. I also had a November monthly low of 15, which is super rare for long Island in November.

these really warm days are really out of place. although, i do really enjoy an 82 degree November day rather than an 82 degree day in June. That high sun angle in June, you really can't stay in the sun for a long time, whereas, today, you can pretty much stay in the sun all day without getting burned. Low 45 High 82 Not sure if this is right but end of next week looks like we are way above normal again

Correct. I was 7.2 on 12/24, 10.8 on 12/25, and 10.4 12/26.. I was just referring to 2023. I still find today's low amazing in that context.

I got down to 22.6 IMBY this morning down here ( Salisbury NC) To put in perspective, my 2023 low was 22.1 in January..

Got down to 22.6 IMBY this AM. So not only first freeze of season, but super hard freeze. Earliest I've ever witnessed below 25, including when I lived in LI NY.. And only 3 days after having a high of 85.. And is the 3rd coldest temperature of 2023. Which was 22.1 and 22.5 respectively. Crazy stuff indeed.
