  1. It has been basically dry here since the end of August, .23 rainfall this month along with those Breezy conditions we had several days ago and lots of sun to dry the soil out.
  2. The grass slowed down from growing considerably since my last mow on Thursday of last week. All the previous mowings from July till last week, in two days looked liked I didn't even mow. Now this week it's still growing but not at the rate it was before.
  3. Hummingbirds are still here. Last year they were gone around Labor Day. Wondering if they will leave shortly or stick around the rest of the week.
  4. Temp dropped down to 40.3 for the low this morning.
  5. US National Weather Service State College PA · Estimated rainfall since May 11th (120 days): Point A: ~11 inches Point B: ~26 inches A difference of 15 inches across only 100 miles!
  6. 41 this morning. Glad there is a warmup in sight.
  7. Glad to have yous on board for the return of the heat and higher dewpoints!
  8. Sounds like your embracing the return of the heat and the humidity.
  9. 62 here too. Watering under the cover of darkness...sounds like classic textbook mafia dealings.
  10. Almost the same as me. The mountain top is about 1000 ft. where I live is 458 ft.
  11. We have a feeder for the Hummers too. Last week they were hitting it hard. But this week they were hitting the flowers and weeds instead of the feeder. They were still here as of last evening. I took this pic last evening. This is our Lilac bush. It blooms in the spring, but for some unknown reason in August it loses its leaves and the it gets some new ones and we have some blooms in the fall months. This has been happening for at least 7 years now. So when I went to get a pic of the Lilac last evening there was a hummer enjoying the blooms.
  12. Well, there goes your chance of getting those bonus 10 day snow accumulation maps from Blizz with your water delivery.
