The shingle shredding, garbage can destroying winds are about to start.

With each passing day, many are just waiting to throw in the towel. Maybe we can have a towel burning party at Canderson's, in his wind damaged garbage cans. Since I think he was one of the first to declare this winter was toast.

Had to go to Minersville yesterday afternoon. Once you got east of Hegins, it was a totally different world up there. There was probably about 3 inches of snow on the ground. The trees and light poles wires were all coated with snow. The temperature was only 31 @3:30 in the afternoon up there. It was an amazing sight being there was no snow where I live. And the elevation was 771 according to my elevation app. Where we started seeing snow on the ground.

DT thinks the European model is right for early next week

24 this morning, at least the wind calmed down till Saturday.

This winter is staying on track as far as disappointment for the snow lovers.

NWS says basically a swing and a miss on snow accumulation in my location with the upcoming storm.

Maybe that's the key on getting winter back in Pa. (mystery solved) and all this time they were blaming you for winters demise

Mine has the same accumulation as your forecast. Which is basically nothing.

My NWS forecast really doesn't want anything to do with the word snow.

I don't know if penalties would help out the game at this point. But I know we're all experiencing "delay of game penalty" right now. Where is Patrick Mahomes to lead us to the promised land? Yes I'm rooting for at least one storm a big one at that, to get us into true spring.

A cold frosty 24 this morning. What happened to our weekend storm, NWS has nothing in their forecast this weekend. Should we just throw in the towel? Side note a lot of the migrating birds have returned. I see the Robin's are back. And yesterday I seen the phoebe has returned. Also the peepers were singing yesterday afternoon. So spring is basically here, according to our feathered friends. Also the dogs had their 1st groundhog kill last week.

Was 28 here too with some frost.

This looks like a Pillow express special! But my NWS forecast is calling for rain showers low of 36.

My landlines and internet are down since yesterday morning, have to wait till the service provider TDS comes on Monday to repair. GRRR.

How you like your tempest, any issues?

Idk I didn't go over, I wanted to but didn't. Maybe I'll text the auctioneer as we are friends. But the check in the mail will tell the tale. They get a 35% commission on on the total sale. But at least I'm rid of the stuff. I hated to part with it but I don't use the stuff. I would have had to built a 20x50 cli ate controlled building to keep everything that I got rid of and what's here. So I got rid of some sentimental value, and some history. But I can't keep everything. But at the same time it was my grandfathers stuff and he went through the great depression, and they kept and held on to that and made use of it. So I feel a little guilty of getting rid of it knowing what they went through and how they went through life making every penny count.

Last night's thunderstorm with some heavy thunder, rain and very bright lightning marked the 3rd one for the year. Which is I have had a thunderstorm in every month so far in 2023. And to me a surprising 1.40 rain for the event. I think there were multiple thunderstorms in that batch last night as it took awhile to completely move on.
