  1. Pfizer as well? Hit me pretty well. Woke up at 3:30AM with a fever, aches, and chills. Subsiding now.
  2. Good luck. I took an acetaminophen and a nap and now it’s back my typical 97.8F. Still a pounding headache. Got up to 102.2F and I had enough even if the guy at CVS said you want that response for highest efficacy.
  3. 101.8F. I feel certain that I’m done with COVID for a long time after the next two weeks.
  4. Shot 2 yesterday. Woke up with a temp of 100.7F. First fever since I was probably 10.
  5. Had to go to Haverhill for my second shot. Nice stripe of rain right there.
  6. No leaves on the oaks here. Buds appearing. Buds and small leaves on the maples and smaller trees.
  7. Fauci just stated that we may be all set within a few weeks based on our current progress.
  8. Yup. As a little kid, I was always barefoot. Now, as a grown a$$ man, if I step on a pebble barefoot, I crumble like a house of cards.
  9. Not to fall into a rabbit hole, but if they were TRULY frightened, I'm betting that you probably wouldn't see them out in public on a sidewalk to begin with. EDIT: Finally ditching the neck gaiter when I'm out for a jog! I'll probably go back to using it to protect my face against the cold in the winter months.
  10. Maybe a common sense approach going forward? Wear a mask if you’re sick and have to be out in public. If sick and you can stay home, stay home until you’re better. I’d be fine with stigmatizing the “warriors” that go to work or school sick as a dog. Again, if you don’t have the ability to stay home, that’s when you should mask up. Don’t be coughing and sneezing on everyone on the train or bus.
  11. My little cousin is getting married on New Year’s Eve. Fingers crossed we’ve beaten this thing down by then.
  12. Just think...probably under 6 months to go until your next wintry scene like that one.
  13. I haven’t come down with any type of cold since Spring 2019. I usually get one bad one a year that knocks me out for at least a few days.
  14. I couldn't get those conditions in the heart of winter the past few seasons. Maybe 12/17/20 was close.
  15. India is a hotbed right now. This may soon come down to a rich vs. poor country disease. Maybe even rich vs. poor region disease.
  16. That will be me next Friday I guess. Hopefully just lasts the one day.
  17. Second jab of Pfizer next Thursday. Already put in for a sick day Friday.
  18. I always brace myself for confrontation when I go down an aisle the wrong way to grab something real quick.
  19. Ha...those have been gone around here since late last summer/early fall.
  20. It’s coming. “Normalcy” will return in increments, not all at once. The push is on, especially with more and more getting vaccinated and summer economies dependent on people being out.
  21. Just saw an article where a Brigham and Women’s doc advocated for the end of the outdoor mask mandate. From being out, most are already shedding them up here outside the center.
  22. Getting nada 2/1 did us in for a BN season.
  23. Pretty amazing. Do you or anyone else happen to have Will’s average seasonal snowfall map?
