  1. In 2001, my dad got whooping cough. He was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. He would cough so hard that he would literally pass out. He was passing out daily. One night he went through our glass coffee table. I was in 5th grade and got it too. I would cough so hard and throw up. That may have been the worst summer for us. I don’t wish that on anyone.
  2. Never mess around with chest pain. My brother in law thought he was having a heart attack last month. Turned out to be pericarditis. He’s vaccinated, but the doctors believe it is a symptom of long COVID. He’s a marathon runner who now loses his breath walking to his car in the driveway.
  3. And just like that, a quarter of our seasonal snowfall is in the books.
  4. Probably around 7” here. I think there’s a spotter in town. I’d go by that. I usually come in conservative since I just measure at the end.
  5. This will probably be my only pure snow event of >3” this winter.
  6. Good storm. Looks and feels like winter. I’m content.
  7. It is what it is. I’ll find out next week whether I’ll be able to close on my new place in Salisbury. It’s been delayed numerous times. Ready for a better snow climo.
  8. For Ray 4.5” It’s been so long since our last significant snow, my eyeballing is out of whack. Mashed potatoes density.
  9. Haven’t even gone out to measure yet. Been on work calls since 730. I’ll have to get out and measure soon. Eyeballing around 5-6” now.
  10. Oh wow. A gust of wind and visibility just plummeted. Let’s get that temp down to 30.
  11. Dang it. 33.8F. Visibility way up. When will the temps snap back down?
  12. If some in E MA are already reporting 10”, I’m guessing we may see some 16-18” final reports?
  13. 32.0F / S Mashed potatoes snow. Hoping we cool to 30-31F.
  14. You know. The town in NE MA that will probably finish with more snow than NE CT this winter, and most winters for that matter.
