Yes love this! My favorite ever was the first Feb 2010 storm. I would get halfway down the drive, turn around and it would look like I hadn't touched it

Long duration events are my absolute favorite, ill even sacrifice totals (to an extent) for 60 hours of light/mod snow

CWG just reminded me that today is the ten year anniversary of Commutageddon, which was the storm that got me on this forum originally. Still one of my favorite events (because I was home that day). I remember watching the rain rapidly turn to hail and then very heavy wet snow. Eventually lost power and spent the evening making cocoa on the electric stove. Also one of the only times I ever heard thundersnow!

So far this winter ive been really quiet about potential threats with my family/friends so as not to jinx them. Hasn't worked so ALL IN on Monday.

Took a nice walk around the block to the Centreville fire station, was snowing lightly most of the time but started to taper off as I got back.

Drove up 66 from Marshall to Centreville and it was snowing the whole time

Bought some snow pants and picked up my favorite guilty pleasure IPA on the way home. I can at least pretend its about to snow this week.

Heck of a run, Im at peace. My only sadness is I have to wait 8 months to watch my team again. I hope Mahomes is ok I really wanna see him slug it out with Rodgers in the Superbowl

From NWS ..SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS... Scattered snow showers are moving across the region. While road temperatures are mostly above freezing, air temperatures may quickly fall to near freezing, and a brief period of very low visibility is also possible. Roads may briefly become slushy and a quick coating of snow may occur on non-paved surfaces. Motorists should use caution for the next several hours.
