  1. Looking at the GFS it's a week full of mid 80s starting Monday (probably more like upper 80s, low 90s) lol Relief doesn't arrive until the following week thanks to a cold front..(subject to change)
  2. Even if the temps don't get that high the DPs will be.. Deep southwesterly flow will then take hold to start the work week with daytime highs surging into the mid and upper 80s, with some lower 90s not out of the question on Monday as heights aloft rise and 850 mb temps climb to the +18C to +20C range. Highs Tuesday will likely be a few degrees cooler as the next upper impulse impacts our region. Meanwhile surface dewpoints will also continue to increase from the low to mid 60s over the weekend to around 70 for the first part of next week, leading to an increasingly sultry if not oppressive feel to our airmass.
  3. I know in Disney they have to wear a mask, via my sis-in law who lives right there.. Old lady got an alert that the town of Richland which encompasses pulaski now requires vaccination cards or mask to enter court buildings..Not sure if this includes all state and federal buildings..
  4. I don't watch the news so COVID-19 is non existent in this household lol Thanks for the info..
  5. We had a low of 55° overnight, already up to 74° but the forecasted high is only 77° hmmm..The weekend into next week"sizzle sizzle" continues to trend downward with mainly low-mid 80s instead of the upper 80s the NWS previously had...
  6. Met life stadium for example uses no public financing only private which they pay over 25 years.. New York Giants: Metlife Stadium Total cost: $1.6 billion Public financing: None Private financing: $1.6 billion Capacity: 82,500
  7. What do you guys think of this? Most stadiums that are built are part owner, part taxpayers .. Jerry Jones paid for like 60% of Dallas stadium for example.. Bills are trying for taxpayers to pay all according to this article.. Buffalo Bills reportedly eyeing move to Austin, TX Buffalo Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula are looking for a public-funded stadium https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.foxnews.com/sports/bills-reportedly-eyeing-move.amp
  8. Not much to complain about over the last 6 days or so..Had a high of 73° today which is the warmest over the last 5 days..
  9. This period will feature a pattern change across North America as lingering ridging in the west and weak troughing in the east transitions to at least a general zonal flow...or flips altogether by next week Sunday/Monday. With surface-based ridging remaining firmly anchored over the western Atlantic...this evolution in the pattern will allow for a slow but persistent influx of increasing amounts of heat and humidity into our region. This will translate into conditions turning increasingly sultry as we work through this period...with daytime highs climbing to at least the upper 80s/lower 90s by next week Monday...and surface dewpoints also reaching to around the 70 degree mark in most areas. With respect to precipitation chances...weak impulses circulating through the larger-scale flow aloft will combine with the building heat and humidity to yield the potential for some widely scattered to scattered showers/storms each day...with these generally coming each afternoon/early evening in tandem with peak heating. In general the best opportunities for these will be found in the vicinity of any lake and terrain-driven boundaries that develop...though the passage of any more well-defined shortwaves could help result in better areal coverage. While the exact timing of these remains difficult to pin down this far out...it is possible that one such feature could cross our region during Saturday...with increasing agreement on the this noted between the various medium range guidance packages.
  10. Just so we are aware, this is the old thread hehe
  11. That's a lot dude lol My girl went to a dispensary in Maine and they told her to take 5-10 mg lol I much rather"flower" personally..
  12. Actually it's the total opposite bro.. Consumption of weed jumpstarts production of the hormone ghrelin. Ghrelin is what makes you hungry—and, more so, make you crave food. This in accordance with the release of dopamine from weed will make you feel so happy to eat food. All of this adds up to making your body crave more and more food—and, more so than that, love whatever it is you're eating at least a hundred times more.. Science Says Weed Makes Food Taste and Smell Better Anyone who's ever smoked a joint knows that weed can make you ravenously hungry. But why? According to recent research, THC can make your brain smell and taste food far more acutely while high—meaning there's a scientific basis for the munchies.
  13. Well here in pulaski all we have is tops Aldi's is nice for certain things but I'm a "name brand" kind of guy..Yes you pay extra for the name but it's also better tasting lol We have a new big lots in town now but grocery is limited, they do have some sweet deals though.. My favorite use to be price chopper but prices have increased dramatically over the last few years, I guess everywhere has lol We are surrounded by Walmart, Oswego, Fulton, watertown, clay etc but haven't been there in years lol
  14. 90s aren't dead yet, at least according to the euro..
  15. We picked up 0.20" of rain overnight, some more showers heading this way.. Looks like fishing season is underway, took me 15 minutes to get a bottle of water at bryne dairy lol Give it a couple months and I'll be avoiding DT at all cost lol

  17. Obviously can't really trust the models but the potential for a decent soaking to start off the month.. Still a couple months away from the rainy season as October is the wettest month according to NOAA.. Actually we see more precipitation in fall/winter then we do in spring/summer if those numbers are to be believed lol
  18. Then, the attendant cold front approaches the region early Sunday morning. With both these frontal features within the vicinity late tonight and into early Sunday morning, along with the cold air aloft, temperature differences between 850mb and the lake surface (and equilibrium levels) become marginal to support waterspouts on both lakes. The likelihood for showers and thunderstorms will ramp up Sunday as a sharp shortwave trough and associated cold front move southeast across the region. Diurnal heating ahead of the system will allow for at least some instability to develop, although expected widespread cloud cover should limit instability. Shear profiles not overly impressive but if any organized convection can develop along the front localized gusty thunderstorms are not out of the question. Potential exists for locally heavy rain with increasing precipitable water values.
  19. Yeah first time in a while dipping into the 40s, 48° for the overnight low..
  20. 68° today for the second consecutive day, dews down into the low-mid 50s making it quite comfortable..
