Have to wonder if things are setting up for a cooler/wetter summer instead of a hotter summer which some have been forecasting. We'll see if the heat switch gets turned on by mid May.
Yep. What originally looked like a 1-2" rainfall for the NYC metro now looks like 0.50" at best with more on LI unless the models wind up being to far east with the heaviest precipitation.
I would like to see a south shift as well but not to see snow. Just for the storm evolution itself. With that said the NYC metro should see a decent rainfall on the order of 1-2" with a few locally higher amounts.
