Its not going to be a fish, its rolling through the bahamas. FISH=no landmass
-
Also can take more precip, refer to Flash Flood Guidance. The terrain causes extra problems..8 inches of rain in NC is very different than Sofla.
-
The front is only 100 miles south of me, its in the 90s
-
Rain has arrived in Eau Claire, its cloudy and 67, a few days ago it was 97.

I am in Eau Claire and rain has been moderate to heavy, tomorrow looks like better setup for our area.

Nothing on the euro, looks like typical early season GFS overdoing it BUT it had some big early season wins last year Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

Natl guard should be deployed for crowd control. Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

90 DP 79, really struggling to get convection going... meanwhile you guys get cold rain, bummer Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

I was in the Berkshires 2 weeks ago and enjoyed the upper 40s at night. Current situation in Fort Lauderdale: 87 with a DP of 76 and a drought, today and tomorrow afternoon look promising then a ridge and more dry air. We arent hanging outside either today, tomorrow or until November.

High and dry in the sunshine state for the next week, at least with the ridge overhead. We might get to hurricane season with no additional precip is Sofla. Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

80 with a 72 DP at my house so crank up your humidifier. Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

Thanks, cloudy and drizzle, deer and turkeys seem happy. Hopefully we tap into a better setup, lack of surface heating isn't helping. Sent from my Pixel 9 using Tapatalk

Been following this thread for a week, arrived from sofla saturday in nyc and heading to Hawley,PA today...will post anything of interest later today and tomorrow. 2-3 inches of rain is very different here than 2-3 inches in sofla, we are in a drought(typical right before the rainy season starts, we are almost there) but even in the rainy season, 3 inches in an afternoon doesnt really move the needle.

Winter 2024-25 Medium/Long Range Discussion
jlauderdal replied to michsnowfreak's topic in Lakes/Ohio Valley
100%, 28 degress with 40s to your south and 20 degress 100 miles to your north with the gulf wide open and very deep low ssw, thats hard to get which is why you guys are so disapointed year after year. Im in the western burbs this weekend from sofla and all I get is 35 and rain, thanks. I expect more after dodging hurricanes last season. -
