  1. About 6" on top of the 5" i had after the ran. Nothing earth shattering just steady light snow been primarily a NNW flow which isn't best for my area, need a NW or WNW to get the best banding, Sunday Night into Monday night looking pretty good, then maybe Near Years Eve LES looks like something to watch. I did see a report over in Western UP that had 16" near ironwood.
  2. Certainly not eye popping LES totals but a decent first event for the season.
  3. I'm betting somewhere in your neck of the woods and in the Tug see's over 2'+
  4. I am thinking 6-10" for my area, depending on banding, I'm sure somewhere will see over a 12". Wind profiles not the best setup. GFS seems reasonable
  5. Potentially looking at our first decent LES event of the season beginning tomorrow night through the holiday weekend. Certainly not the best setup for NWL and the UP but the bar has been set low. SWL is looking decent as well. Does not appear we have had a dedicated LES thread in a couple years, obviously we do not have a lot of members in the LES belts but thought I would start one again anyway.
  6. True but as with anything in life its all relative, I'm still about 25" down on snowfall IMBY, APX is about `20". Many areas in this sub only average 25-50" for the year. At leas local impacts really don't matter at this point due to COVID already destroying it.
  7. Definitely looks pretty good for your area, not expecting to much in NWL Mich, having probably the worst LES season I have experienced since moving up here back in 2012. It was bound to happen sometime. UP just as bad..
  8. About 8" so far should be able to get my first double digit total this winter, finally looks like winter here.
  9. Picked up about an 1" overnight melted off pretty quickly when the sun came up, as BO said hopefully April/May bring warmer temps.
  10. I think a relaxing of outdoors type of events should be feasible, would be nice if my campground would be open, also boating, golfing. As others have said perhaps opening up some stores on a very cautious social distance. We were going the right direction regarding new cases and deaths until today. Deaths shot way up and cases also increased from previous day although they did change how they are reporting deaths now.
  11. Michigan is definitely on the downward swing with new confirmed cases (sufficient testing?) and deaths. If trends continue I do see Whitmer pulling back some of these restrictions.
  12. Picked up about an inch of snow/sleet in about 10 mins on some of the heaviest snow rates of the season lol.
  13. Yea I saw May, June, July and so forth are all over $2, will be curious to see what June's contract actually subtle down to beginning tomorrow.
  14. Anyone else paying attention to Crude today, what a dumpster fire for the oil industry. US crude hitting -$40 per barrel? Not easy to turn the tap off so to speak. Hard to fathom the long term economic implications COVID-19 is going to have on the world.
  15. Been pickup up a few inches of LES each night, luckily its been mostly melting off throughout the day. Although its nice to look at while sitting in my home office.
  16. That's interesting that just across the big lake we are all running below normal on snowfall ytd, imby i'm about 20" below ytd. LES has been very anemic this year, majority of our snow has been synoptic driven or Lake Enhanced not true LES. I would say that in a normal year about 60" is synoptic while the remainder 100" or so I get i s primarily driven from the Lake Mich / Superior. With that being said i'm well over a 100" ytd so that is all relative.
  17. Um no, snowblower still in repair shop not ready for this sh#t yet lol
