You know it was a torchy week when I was catching bass off topwater baits, lol.

Its awesome, but just not great during the winter.

Lately, 4 mile run, it’s a warm water discharge in the Potomac so it’s perfect for deep winter fishing! But in the spring just about every pond in Maryland has some bass.

I think people just need to embrace the warm pattern. This winter has rocked for me and I’m looking forward to casting a line in some of my favorite fishing holes!

This is the prettiest most powdery snow ice ever seen. Gotta be at an inch now. Zero melting, people are so confused where to park. I shoveled lines for my area of the parking lot.

I'm right behind you. Can't even imagine what roads are like now, I saw how they were about an hour ago. Just finished shoveling and salting.

Ok I have limited experience with this. Why are the roads this bad right now? I’ve been here for 3 years and never skidded once, including the sleet bomb. But for this 0.5” pixie dust there are cars in ditches.

Ok the roads are terrible in Germantown. Borderline undrivable. Saw cars skidding everywhere. They have the salt trucks out finally.

The roads are worse with this snow in Germantown than when we had the 11”.

Parking lot has caved in Germantown, steady snow coming down, definitely a 0.3" coating on everything so far. May get 0.5" or more out of this.

It wasn't always that way either, this is a recent thing. I first noticed it this winter.

I think Germantown is in some sort of radar shadow, because we always have lower or no returns overhead, but I get the same level of snow as those with heavy returns around me.

Sidewalks have caved and the roads look like they are about to in untreated areas here in Germantown. Overperformer.
