    I'm not going to argue the case too hard but it might be relevant for talking about reopening plans in Maryland, no? Maybe just local numbers? It will be hard to discuss Hogan's reopening guidelines without them.

    It was so, so wonderful. Went hiking with my son. We identified so many plants... the PictureThis app is awesome. We also identified stinging nettle... >.> my poor kiddo and I brushed into some.

    Stayed out of the Covid thread today and it was wonderful. Had a lovely socially distanced hike on an empty trail with my kiddo and it was WONDERFUL!

    Might do another hike today and bring the kiddo. I have a trail next to my house that has virtually 0 traffic even on nice days like today.

    So uh. Was that it? Just blew through. It was 1 minute of intense wind. Mind you, the wind was VERY intense, easily could see trees down. But that was over in a heartbeat.

    Watched that storm in Mississippi from when it started, and watched Brad Arnold chase it. What a storm. Beautiful velocity signature. Wondering if I'll get some decent storms up my way tomorrow. I need some thunder.

    So... for those of you with more experience than me... how long does the ground stay white after 11.5” of snow?

    Oh my god guys, I have a pile of snow that is 3' high from shoveling. My son now has a tiny shovel that a neighbor gave me. I really got to meet all of my neighbors who helped a clueless person like me figure out how to deal with all the snow. This is great. Bonus pictures! 11.5" was my final snowfall amount. SNOW IS AWESOME!

    Got it up here in the outskirts of Germantown too. One storm I got as much snow as I did last winter lol.

    Looking at the reports, it appears I was in the jackpot zone. Sweet! I've been looking for a 6+" storm for so long now and I actually jackpot when it hits! Y'all the way it looks outside nearly makes the wait all worth it.

    It very much is. Tempered by me still feeling sick. Either the flu or the remnants of Norovirus. Hoping is the later. I’ll know if I wake up better or worse tomorrow.

    I was going to be happy with 4”, that was gonna be my most ever. A foot is mind blowing.

    I needed a snow like this so bad, I was convinced this doesn’t happen here. I think I’m a lock for 10” in Germantown, May already be there.

    Same here. Sidewalks were already shoveled and cars brushed off. Thought it was over.

    East of Daly Elementary. I bet the roads are terrible right now. I have 6" on hard surfaces but there is a ton of compaction on them. 9" on anything that is insulated.
