  1. maybe the huge area of near 90 degree water in the west pac will magically cool down despite co2 emissions not dropping
  2. climate change pushed the west pac past an MJO tipping point and we're probably not going to see any sustained good winter patterns for the rest of our lives
  3. the middle one is a peanut feeder and the one on the far right is a screech owl box that a squirrel lives in
  4. he waffles with every single model run. it was brutal before the jan 2022 storm
  5. more n stream interaction, more ridging ahead of it, sharper/deeper s stream... we could see a runaway north trend
  6. if it's a snow map it's a clown map
  7. and now we're in a borderline super nino which is raising the baseline again
  8. how are we going to get those events if we struggle to get airmasses like that
  9. last summer's euro seasonal forecast wasn't perfect but it did catch the blocky idea. look what it's showing for this summer
