  1. 12z Euro drops the surface low 19mb in 12hrs Friday afternoon/eve. Pressure dips into the 960s as it enters Lake Superior. Probably overdone but indicates we have a fairly dynamic storm system in play for late week, finally.
  2. Glad we already saw our first flakes cause it looks like a long wait till we see any again. Nice weather but zzzzzz
  3. 30 here this morning for the 9th freeze of the month/season.
  4. Mid-Atlantic peeps ain't gonna like that one lol.
  5. 0.77" yesterday brought our 3-day total up to 1.04". We definitely needed that, which is hard to believe after how wet it was back in September.
  6. Up to 0.54" for the past 3 days. Slow steady light rain this morning, with some heavier rains trying to move in from the south. May top the 1" mark afterall.
  7. Picked up 0.27" since last night. Will be riding the western edge of tomorrows wave. Some models show up to an inch here, while others much less. This area's kind of getting the ol' split between the two waves.
  8. Nice to hear thunder again, seems like it's been forever.
  9. An ill-timed band of clouds coc blocked 80 degree potential today, as MLI was 79'd. Still impressive streak for late Oct.
  10. Good chance for another 80+ today. That would make 3 in a row, which is very rare for this late in the year.
  11. MLI did in fact tie the record today with 84. Hit 81 here.
  12. Dews are higher today than yesterday so won't have quite the same overperformance. However, MLI's record of 84 looks to be in jeopardy. Will give it a good run nonetheless.
  13. Coat in the morning, shorts in the afternoon. MLI started the day at 35 with scattered frost, and made it to 81 this afternoon. Our low for Mon morning is forecast at 64 degrees. Our high last Monday was 42 degrees.
  14. Looks like you caught a ghoul hitchhiking in that pic lol
  15. Nice rebound from 25 early this morning to 65 this afternoon. Felt pretty warm after the cold stretch. MLI made it all the way to 70.
  16. A lot of leaves fell off the trees today with the very hard freeze. Several species of trees are now entirely bare. Oaks as per usual are behind the others, and still mostly green actually.
  17. Really bottomed out this morning, down to 20 degrees so far. A few lower teens up in northern IA.
  18. Eddie Van Halen crapped out too, so no Van Halen soundtrack.
  19. We got in on the action today and had a few periods of light snow. Didn't expect it this far west.
  20. No flakes anytime soon here but some more cold nights on the way. Possible lower 20s Tue and Wed.
  21. 26 here early this morning. This October has been about as exciting as watching C-SPAN.
  22. 0.15" this morning bringing the 2-day total up to 0.54".
  23. Nice little mini soaker today. Picked up just under 4 tenths.
  24. 28 here this morning. So long skeeters!
