  1. Following the rainer for Thursday, looks like the next rainer arrives around the 16-17th.
  2. ^ Meanwhile our 1/2" of snowpack has sublimated down to 1/3" depth
  3. Yeah our areas were just outside of the GHD3 storm, which was quite heartbreaking at the time lol.
  4. Picked up 0.5" overnight and today. Up to 5.4" for the season.
  5. MLI had a good shot at approaching record temps today, but they stayed socked in by dense fog by just a few miles. Just a few miles south the fog lifted and temps were near 60, or about 10 degrees higher than MLI. You woulda never knew the clearing line was so close, as it was very dark and dismal within that heavy fog bank.
  6. 0.71" rain here. Very foggy most of the day.
  7. Looks like a quick 0.50-0.75 of rain here tonight, some flurries/snow showers Thu, and then quiet into mid Jan. The record of 62 at MLI tomorrow may be in jeopardy, which would be their 2nd record high in a week. Impressive after nearly -40 wind chills around xmas.
  8. MSP gonna cross the 40" threshold before here & ORD gets to 5" lol.
  9. Which at that time we'll be halfway through met winter.
  10. Another fun fact.. this time last week our dewpoint was -16, currently it's 53, a 69 degree difference.
  11. The birdfart tor that missed 1 mile north of here in March. Had 70mph winds here briefly with that. That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
  12. You and Beavis are at 2 ends of the spectrum. He's Mr. Freeze and you're the Human Torch lol.
  13. Astounding change in conditions to say the least. MLI broke the record high today with their 67. The 5pm ob one week ago right now at MLI was -4 with wind chill of -29. 5pm ob today is 62, a 91 degree difference.
  14. Got a good chance at 60 today, especially at MLI. MLI already up to 50 at this early hour. Just 48hrs ago we got down to -5. Definitely gonna feel better than the -40 wind chills from late last week.
  15. *Forrest Gump voice* and just like that, our 1" of snow had mell ted.
  16. Temps at midnight tomorrow night look to be in the 50s, or over 60 degrees warmer than at midnight last Thu night.
  17. Meant for snow. Looks like we'll be heading towards mid Jan with <5" snow for the season unless storm track shifts southeast some.
  18. I don't want to brag or anything, but we're on the verge of crossing the 5" threshold for the season here.
