Looks like our next disappointment comes Sunday, followed by another long stretch of nothing. MLI managed to sneak in another 90 today. That makes 9 already for the year.

The streak of 90s at MLI ends at 7, as morning/early afternoon cloud cover co ck blocked true potential. Only made 88 today.

7th day in a row with 90+ at MLI. Some storms firing off to the west, but will only benefit the Iowa side. Starting to look like Albuquerque around here.

Hottest day yet as expected as MLI hit 96. Hit 94 here. Today's now the 6th 90+ in a row, with more to go.

Pretty good dust devil conditions today. Saw a pretty stout one tearing through a parched looking corn field a bit ago. Up to 92 already here.

The May 7th event was probably what's kept me from being too down about this awful stretch of nothingness the past few weeks. That event gave us over 8hrs of continuous thunder with several nice downpours. However, missing the March 31st event (out of town) will haunt me for years lol

58 here this morning. Living the high plains life, 50s at night, 90s in the afternoon.

The Euro shows pockets of teen dewpoints Tuesday evening over northern IL. That is pretty astounding to say the least. Even has low 20 degree dews on Wednesday afternoon over western IL. Pretty interesting stuff.

95 at MLI today. Probably hit 97-98 tomorrow with the drier air and bone dry ground.

4th day in a row of 90+ at MLI, as they hit 94 today. Hit 93 here. Saw some towers in the distance but the isolated downpours missed this area. EDIT: Euro shows widespread 30 degree dews next Wed-Fri over much of the sub. Don't see that very often around here deeper into June.

Actually felt a few small sprinkles walking into the house a little bit ago as a wussy shower tries to pop overhead. Hit 94 here today, MLI made at least 93. Dews up closer to 60 making it quite a bit more uncomfortable compared to the past few days.

Non-stop 90s from here on out for at least the next 10 days. May even make the upper 90s, especially next weekend.

Looks like a potential 7+ day stretch of 90+ degree days starting tomorrow for this area. Could be some hit and miss afternoon storms starting Wednesday. Anyone who is lucky enough to get caught underneath one of them should feel quite fortunte lol.
