Looks like widespread mid-upper 90s later next week and beyond. Likely will top 100 here later next week/next weekend. Any rain keeps getting put off till day 10 lol.
Densest smoke/haze I've ever seen today. Not an ounce of blue sky even with zero clouds. Also dropping surface vis to 3-4 miles.
Despite the thick smoke MLI made it to 93.
Other than a cooler day tomorrow in the 80s, looks like non-stop 90s going forward. Probably some mid-upper 90s as well next week.
Euro says it may rain next weekend.
Temps stayed in the upper 50s here all day long beneath a heavy overcast. I quite enjoyed it after all that heat, and of course a long/hot summer still incoming.
The 3km was showing decent rains earlier yesterday, but has since backed off. I'm going with 0.00-0.10" for here. Anything less than an inch is pretty much worthless anyway at this point. Need a good 2-3"+ soaker which obv ain't happening.
Looks like our next disappointment comes Sunday, followed by another long stretch of nothing.
MLI managed to sneak in another 90 today. That makes 9 already for the year.
7th day in a row with 90+ at MLI. Some storms firing off to the west, but will only benefit the Iowa side. Starting to look like Albuquerque around here.
