I've been in the landscaping business my whole life. Was cutting lawns 10 hours a day at 12 for my Dad's business. Oddly, I ilke the look of your lawn.

    That’s a meadow not a lawn

Shame we’re seeing sunset put a lid on this. Shear and instability is pretty high at the moment for those storms along the Toll Road

Not sure where to put this but a quick question for Ohio folks. I might have a work assignment down in Findlay Ohio where I might have an extended stay what’s around that area in terms of things to do or cool spots to go to?

Findlay Brewing Co is an awesome spot. Some solid golf courses around the area as well. Definitely a weird town in that it’s in the middle of nowhere, but is home to one of the largest companies in the world

GRR with a little bit of sarcasm/humor in their afternoon AFD.

Smoke continues to linger across parts of West Michigan, though some
improvement has been noted over central Lower Michigan the past few
hours. As ridge of high pressure moves east of the area tonight,
winds will becomes SE, and this should prevent the somewhat more
pristine air to the north from advancing significantly farther south
through lower Michigan, and as a result forecast will continue to
include areas of smoke through Thursday.

I always wished to be able to do this- take a pic of a great storm cell from a jet. I haven't flown across the country in the spring/summer very much. I did see a MCS/anvil with a storm one time, from about 10 miles+, in a jet.

The turbulence off them is never fun though

Meanwhile the Akron CO cyclic supercell from earlier is the storm of the year and perhaps decade so far in terms of photogenic tornadoes. Unbelievable video.

Amazing to see. I think as well it's good for people to see just how volatile a mesocyclone is, especially a violent one like this. Too many people want to "zero meter" anymore and this is why a safe distance & precip free view is so key
