  1. Intensity has picked up the past hour or so. Looks like a small dry slot headed this way.
  2. 1.5" so far. Seems on track. Light steady snow so far.
  3. While I didn't measure anything ....I will say the jackpot was definitely around route 6 in Kirtland . Driving on 306 a few miles north of 322 the snow picked up considerably passed Wilson mills. Once you get to the high school in Kirtland , it did seem to drop off....still 12"+ though . Mentor Avenue area was probably between 8-12". The southern edge was not far from here. Washington St probably only 1".
  4. Just came back from Chardon. Easily 18" or so there. Snow quickly increases once you cross into Chardon on Auburn a few miles south of 322. Up until there, a general 3-6".
  5. Maybe this one will be an overachiever for us. I believe it has trended south a tad. Not sure what the Euro showed last night though . .
  6. I'll have to take a drive that way in a little bit. That's incredible ! We will get ours....just takes time . Haven't measured anything yet, but 3-4" is my guess here.
  7. That's definitely the jackpot area. The band has oriented west to east now so they'll continue to make out.
  8. Radar looking better . Light flurries now.
  9. The band did start to wobble south earlier. Even had some light flurries . Could make up alot of snow if it moves back south west.
  10. Saw that band developing to the north and east last night. Chardon webcam looks fun. Hopefully it re orients itself . I was by RT 6 last night until 9 or so. Not a ton of snow , but maybe 2-3" at that time
  11. Snow picking up now. In mentor, and there's probably an inch here. Most snow was just north of Chesterland . 21z hrr nails cle metro through Geauga
  12. Congrats on finishing school ohweather! Cuyahoga now has a watch up. Interesting that the les warning mentions the heaviest from Chardon to burton . Would think it would be north of Chardon
  13. Great forecast OHweather , thanks for sharing these. I'd be happy with that for the first big snowfall . The next few weeks look fun The latest cle map seems way too overzealous .
  14. First map from cle looks like on the border of 6-8 .. 8-12 around here with more towards the lake county border. Just as the lake effect winds down maybe more snow on Sunday ? Won't take much to beat the past few December snow totals combined. http://www.weather.gov/cle/Winter_Weather
  15. Long range GFS sure has alot of snow.....but also some really cold temps. Unfortunately the western basin will probably start to ice over soon..
  16. Sounds good! Noticed cle toned back the wording and isn't using significant . Wouls think we will see watches by tomorrow. Hopefully it pans out for a good portion of the area. Sure looks like we will be riding a fine line in the lr with snow and rain. Maybe laying down a good les snowpack will help.
  17. Cle does mention a significant event with westerly winds.....hoping they are more wnw as owhether mentions. One thing is for sure...finally getting into a wintry period. The lr clown maps are fun to look at again.
  18. Noooooo! Ahh a little reverse psychology . ...gotcha haha.
  19. Hopefully a good lake effect setup isn't too far behind the cool down . Would hate to waste the warm lake temps.
  20. That's incredible ! How far does the warmth stretch ? Is it region wide?
  21. Going north on 306, accumulations looked fairly consistent with 2-3" until you hit 90 where it was bare grass. Pretty much bare on 90 until Ashtabula then it started picking up a little . I'm in Erie for a few days and there's probably 4-6" here and still snowing .
  22. Right around 2" on the deck here. Glad that the season has started . Now looking forward to a multi day heavy les event!
  23. There's a nice band on the far west side in Lorain county. Ground is white here....maybe 1". No snow currently.
  24. Been snowing the past hour or so Light dusting on the grass
