Should be a good storm for us. Still curious how the lake effect and enhancement plays out. I'm guessing that will be the majority of accumulations? With the cold temps the past few days, the snow should have no problem accumulating.
Yep, really looking minor. Looks like we'll be below freezing for several days, hopefully can get a good snow at some point. Early week still looking good. Wonder if there's some lake effect too?
Hope there wasn't any damage. Definitely alot of trees and trees down. Just some smaller limbs for me. Power went off and on a few times. Kind of puzzling we weren't under a high wind warning. The duration and frequency of the gusts were pretty incredible. Probably didn't quite meet the sustained criteria . Saw that Youngstown had a 70 mpH gust though!
Another pretty good thunderstorm this morning. Lost power overnight as well. Saw there was even a tornado warning out, but haven't heard of any confirmations.
72 out right now. The length and intensity of the warm spells this winter have been incredible.
Looking more and more likely I'll finish this year with less snow than last year. Who would have guessed that ? Only the northern portion of the snowbelt has been anywhere close to average.
This weekend was very reminiscent of a late March or early April weekend. Motorcycles, convertibles, bicycles, runners all out. If only there had been a little rain to wash the salt off the roads.
