Came home to 2.5" of new snow from last night. Very high ratio fluff.

Had an additional.75" last night. Nickel and diming this week.

That was from last night, slightly more reserved tone this morning. West winds would favor closer to the lakeshore and PA.

1.5" new snow overnight. Definitely feels and looks like deep winter.

About 11" is what I'm coming up with. Definitely hard to measure. The drifting is definitely the worst I've seen in years around here. The one day warmup and rain on Wednesday will really turn everything to a glacier.

Haven't been home yet, but webcam shows a white out. That lake effect band looks fun!

I'm staying on the west side for the weekend so I'll get a measurement from home tomorrow evening. For now, about 3.5" near Elyria, very hard to measure with alot of drifting.

Things seem to be looking a little better this morning. Definitely doesn't seem any worse. Nam trying to come north with the deformation band.

I didn't realize the euro was that favorable. 1" mean qpf would be great with or without great ratios.

Thanks ohweather, seems very reasonable. I'm definitely interested in seeing the short range models tomorrow. Hopefully the trends are on our side.

I would think the meso short range models would be the ones to pay attention to and that generally pick up on the lake involvement.

Nam runs continue to look good 1.25-1.5" on the 18z

Seems like a good snowfall range. Models have been ticking back north a bit today. Hopefully we get some lake enhancement to help out as well.

Another day of great euro and gfs runs. Still hesitant to bite on it, we've been burned too many times.

Wonder if we would get any lake enhancement with the weekend storm? Our window for lake effect is closing.....some of the cold being shown would surely ice up the lake in the next few weeks.

It's a shame the weekend storm fizzles out so quickly as it approaches here. Who knows, maybe it'll give us a surprise. Definitely a good one for those south west.

Measured 1.5" new snow since 6pm yesterday. Event total at 6.5". Bands on the west side look nice, surprised Cuyahoga isn't under an advisory.

Ya, looks to be a band right through chagrin, and another in northern geauga. Winds are really blowing the snow around, low visibilities here.

Radar definitely seems to be intensifying the past hour and transitioning to lake effect. 3-4" eyeballing in Chardon.

Ahhh ok, figured that might be the case. Quite the shock this morning, eyeballing an inch or so, and slick roads. Everything seems to still be looking good. Overnight wrfs were juiced.
