  1. Nothing to see here... https://nypost.com/2020/12/19/chicago-hospital-pauses-coronavirus-vaccinations/
  2. Ya the tone was very pessimistic lol. Had 1" of very low ratio snow last night. Hoping we get a favorable wind direction for thurs-fri.
  3. Yep, I had just shy of 3" since yesterday evening. Looking forward to end of next week. Looks like snow on Christmas and probably some lake effect after as arctic air finally makes an appearance.
  4. 1.5" out there this morning. Snowing lightly, maybe add a bit more.
  5. Ya definitely. The Nam has been trying to throw snow back into Ohio for the past few runs. Seems to be increasing every run. Would be nice if there was support from other models.
  6. Also boosted all of the false positives..
  7. Lol, sad. Man come on, stepping away and getting fresh air is absolutely recommend to help with mental health.
  8. I updated my post with the pregnancy link. I was incorrect, it's not complications, just as you mentioned, not recommend for pregnant women as they haven't been tested. Also , I thought I read you can still be asymptomatic and transmit the virus even after the vaccine. I'll look for the article..
  9. Speaking of mental health, you doing ok? Seem like you're wound a little tight. Get some fresh air.
  10. Not sure if the articles are considered "right wing" or not. It's not all about politics.
  11. 4 people, but still worth noting https://m.businesstoday.in/story/pfizer-vaccine-uk-regulator-allays-fears-after-4-bells-palsy-cases-in-us-trials/1/424382.html Edit; Not yet tested on pregnant women , unless there is more up to date info https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/6352679002
  12. Sure, but isn't it common knowledge that the main side effect is feeling like you actually have the china flu? I still question for those who decide to get the shot, how easy will it be to get the second one? Yes, allergic reactions, bells palsy, and pregnancy/complications of getting pregnant are others that seem to be published recently. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2020/12/09/pfizer-covid-vaccine-6-things-to-know-before-fda-panel-votes-today.html
  13. Starting to see more stories about the nasty side effects from the vaccine as expected. That second shot will be a tough sell.
  14. It's a very real truth; suicides and abuse are increasing. All for something that is not that fatal.
  15. Heck of a storm. It's amazing the difference between this storm and a lake effect storm of the same amount. So much more substantial. I went by the house to plow the driveway. Had 3" additional since we left yesterday. Storm total of 20", matches well with Chagrin reported 20" and Chardon 22".
  16. Power has been out most of the day, it's a mess out there. We left for a hotel. I had 17" when we left around 5.
  17. I've got 8.5" on the deck this morning. Heavy wet snow, it's definitely scenic, but causing some more tree damage.
  18. Always appreciate it @OHweather! Love your analysis. I'm trying to remain cautious, but this should be one heck of a way to kick off winter. Up to 24" in my pc fc.
  19. Looking fantastic! Anxious to hear ohweather's thoughts.
  20. Ya things are definitely trending in the right direction. I would expect a winter storm watch this afternoon.
  21. Omg how dare them! Did you report?
  22. Don't think those typically do good with lake effect You need to wait on short range models to pick up on the lake enhancement setup. Should still be a good first big accumulating snow.
  23. Remember to avoid singing, keep the music down and limit the alcohol today.
  24. That's a huge percentage of non contagious positive tests "Public health experts throughout the U.S. are raising concerns that "standard [COVID-19] tests are diagnosing huge numbers of people who may be carrying relatively insignificant amounts of the virus," the New York Times reported on Saturday. A significant majority of the individuals who test positive "are not likely to be contagious," the paper says.
