  2. I pick this one up in my local package store occasionally:
  3. Played by the late great Rik Mayall who was also in Blackadder. I was profoundly depressed when he passed..Same year and just before Robin Williams actually..
  4. Bob was a zilch for me but not for the poor folks on the Cape so good catch. I’m sure there are others. I was mostly just trying to lighten the mood around here which has become a bit tense as of late
  5. Some storm names you kinda feel aren’t going to be that big of a deal and Fred was definitely one. Nothing menacing about a guy named Fred. A nuisance or a bad neighbor maybe but not a powerful hurricane
  6. It’s pretty hot out but the Covid thread is hotter
  7. Seven years ago today Robin Williams died. Seems like yesterday that happened
  8. Somewhere Eliot Spitzer is taking a deep breath

  13. Pretty cool seeing that moisture plume extend all the way from northeast of Boston into the Gulf of Mexico
  14. Since this year seems to resemble 1938 in different ways I’m half expecting Neville Chamberlain to come out of retirement and declare Peace in our Time
  15. Who’d have thunk that it wouldn’t be the virus doing us all in but the reaction to it?
  16. Nova Scotia has been the new Florida last decade it seems
  17. …and then time to watch the invests in the Atlantic
  18. I like my nor’easters about 75 miles southeast of the Cape and my tropical cyclones at the CT and RI border
  19. Since Gov Baker usually follows NY I wonder if he’ll implement the mask mandate in restaurants around here too
  20. Definitely can’t say the weather this summer hasn’t been interesting
  21. Would this coastal system later in the week be classified as a subtropical storm verbatim per the NAM and other models?
