  1. Still keeping this open as there's a greater-than-zero chance of snow later next week. I'd say probably by April 5 it'll be safe to call if there's nothing on the models, as the leaderboard is not close this year.
  2. 12/19: T 1/3: 9.3" 1/7: 1.4" 1/16: 1.0" 1/20: T 1/28-29: 5.0" 2/4: T 2/13: T 3/12: 0.1" Total: 16.8"
  3. Daily total: 1.63" Monthly total 3.49" This is how I know winter is over; we're back to the usual SoMD deluge pattern.
  4. Nothing's changed but here's the latest update adding 0.1" at DCA:
  5. You’re the first one on the list that doesn’t have a negative departure at any airport, so you’d be the biggest one to benefit if there’s somehow another region-wide event. Everyone else higher up has to root for tricky setups where somehow RIC gets blasted while everyone else gets screwed.
  6. Updated. This is a pretty solid lead now for @IUsedToHateCold
  7. The grass and cars are finally starting to cave. We might actually get a measurable event here!
  8. What you think all the salt is for? All-purpose war got the snow shovels by the door.
  9. I say this every year, but March is the windiest month.
  10. Just FYI, so you all have time to prepare: this will be the last year I'm holding the snowfall contest. After seven years now, I'm passing it onto someone else. Whomever wants to do it can use this same format, or change it up however they want.
  11. Light snow here while the sun is shining.
  12. The GFS has been the best model this winter, but it's not perfect. Look at it's performance for Jan. 20 LOL
  13. Here's what I have. @LittleVillageWx is the current leader.
  14. Measured 5” exactly for the total. That’s 16.7” for the month, which makes it the snowiest month since I moved here in 2013 (previous record was 16.6” in January 2016).
  15. We’ve gone from fat flakes to small ones now. Roads and sidewalks are finally starting to cave in spots. Temperature still 32. Taking first official measurement in two hours.
