Cocorahs has 1.46" for my area from the storm yesterday which is what I expected.
-
A lot of damage around Bowens and Adelina area, looking at pictures of 231 and Sixes Rd. Lots of downed trees.
-
The severe storm warning is definitely verifying IMBY!
Edit: You know you have a good storm when your rain gauge gets broken halfway through.

Just eyeballing, but I think @RickinBaltimore may be winning after today. I say we crown a champ now and move on to September!
Let’s hope this was the hottest day of the year. I’m still gonna wishcast for July 2014 redux.

Maybe someone knows something about PAX. (There's significant knowledge hidden around AmWX; just need some patience usually)
Paging @csnavywx he might know?

I noticed Balt Harbor and PAX run several degrees warmer than everywhere else. Are they off?
PAX always used to be slightly cooler than the rest of SoMD, or at least it seemed that way to me. The last two days have been odd.
It's 97 IMBY, but I'm about 30 mins north of PAX.

I’m winning… I just need to survive today.

Agreed. I'm skeptical of us hitting 100° during this stretch.
I am too. I feel like the pattern flipped last month; lots of cloud cover and misty days now. We're above-average mostly because it doesn't cool off at night; our highs aren't that impressive. It's why I'm still going low in the summer contest.

If edits are still allowed, I'd like to adjust up one degree at each airport:

Not sure about top 10, but a great storm for our current times. Probably top 20.
Totals weren’t as high as our HECS, but no mixing and dry slots and all that garbage. Snowcover lasted a month. Many nostalgic memories with my kids (which also affects my ranking).

I’m looking at my pics and videos of 1/6/25 and reminiscing already… definitely in my top ten all-time favorite snowstorms.

What happened to the storm? Lol. I had a thunderstorm for 10 minutes last evening. What's the wind advisory and flood watch for?
You smoked too many of your cannabis plants, thereby shifting your consciousness to an alternate reality where Eastcoast NPZ now gets hammered with every storm system, while SoMD gets shafted.

This was a bust IMBY. I got more from the system early this morning.
-
0.38” so far today, 6.07” for the month.
-
1.45" storm total
5.66" monthly total
First month since March 2024 that rainfall exceeded 5" IMBY. Hoping the drought pattern of the last 12 months is finally breaking.

I was off Friday too, so this has been three days of 10/10 weather. Tomorrow looks perfect too. We’ve been hitting the trails a lot. Best Memorial Day weekend ever.

I hope so. We are due for a cooler stretch of summer. The things I would do for a 2014 summer redux....
July 2014 was the GOAT

This is not scientific, but I’ve had a feeling for awhile that we’re getting a cooler summer. This weekend has been a good sign. Fingers crossed.

For non-tropical, you may well be right. Almost 5.2" in a single day. That blows away anything I've seen here in my time.
Nowadays that’s like the annual rainfall total for Stephen’s City in one storm.

This has been a repeat of yesterday’s storm, moving north to south. Same areas in Calvert getting crushed again.
