The NWS Binghamton measurement shows 14.2" of snow for Binghamton. That would surpass the existing April record of 13.9" from April 15-17, 2007. The two-day mark is 13.6" from April 15-16, 2007, which would also be exceeded.
That puts Binghamton ahead of Syracuse and into third place in the golden snowball race.

It's brutal here in the lowlands. Given the lack of LES and synoptic here the past few seasons, events like these are just another kick in the gonads for us. Up to 2" here...
Especially when the amount of liquid was almost an inch so you get an idea of the potential if we didn’t get screwed by the temperature

Yea, I don't know what was wrong with here. I'm not adding another spot to my timewasters.
What is the advantage of the discord?

If anyone was wondering about the lack of posts here, most have joined the AMX discord and have been posting quite a bit throughout the storm on there. If anyone would like the invite to it, send me a PM.
Once again a forum dies. I’ve seen this happen before.

Getting a burst of snow now but now we’re fighting the rising April sun.

1" snow. Nothing on pavement. As expected.
Once again the lake plain gets screwed.

Huge snowflakes mixed in with the rain, 39 degrees. You know you’re in central New York when you have to wear your winter coat over your Easter outfit.

1.31 inches since 8:00 yesterday morning. My backyard had standing water which has since soaked into the ground.

And my birthday haha.
Maybe an Easter miracle? As depicted it would mess up sunrise services.

Snowing hard enough here that it’s covering the grass even though it’s 34.

The temperature has really jumped as we’ve gotten into the warm sector. Now it’s up to 69.

64 already this morning, feels incredible.
It’s only 45 here. The warm air is taking it’s time moving in.

Not here. Sun shining brightly. This has been a much better winter for the NW snowbelts than the W and WNW snowbelts. Southern Oswego and Northern Onondaga have been skipped so often.
Just under 3 inches here since Saturday. Yesterday was a net loss for snow cover. When you look at the radar you can see the importance of orographics in an event like this.

Looks like no spring this year and maybe cool summer this year with 1 or 2 days of 90's, that's it!
I’m going to hold you to this, it’s not what the NWS is saying.

Yawn. The Syracuse suckfest continues on. I hate NW flow lake effect. We maybe have gotten two inches, but it melts, then a new dusting, then melts... somewhat of a snowcover, but hard to get much more with the crap elevation and the ever-so-typical showery scope of lake effect. We rarely ever see consistent snowfall like the Tug and Buffalo areas. I am sure this will put BGM over SYR even though we were "supposed" to get more.
Your expectations always exceed reality. The 2 inches I got today exceeded my expectations and if the majority hadn’t fallen during the night I wouldn’t have gotten that. Don’t forget our sun angle is now the same as mid September’s and the normal high is in the mid 40s and rising every day.

It’s really dumping now…if only it was January.

It looks like winter again. I have 1 3/4 inch of snow on my car this morning, less on my driveway. This should be gone by later today.

After my 2 Civics I thought I’d try something different so I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze with a 6 speed manual. It wasn’t quite as reliable as my Civics but it was a nice little cruiser on the thruway from Brewerton to Utica. Last year it was 9 years old with almost 150K miles on it so I decided it was time for a new one. Since retiring I’m only putting about 7K on a year so I decided to splurge and lease a nicer vehicle. I leased a 2021 Mazda CX-5 GTR which I love so far.

Civic owner here
They are so much nicer now. My Civics were a 2002 and a 2007 and were pretty basic cars. I was driving 36,000 miles a year while I was working and wanted an inexpensive, reliable, good gas mileage car and the Civic checked all those boxes.

I’ll be driving my 2008 Honda in 2035
Hondas last forever. I had 2 Civics, one got creamed by a truck with 117K and still had the original brakes. The other had 183K and could have reached 250K.

I was up until after 2 last night and when the temperature here got stuck on 36 for 2 hours at the height of the storm I knew it was going to bust. My overnight minimum was 33.
