The heat needs to end. I can't stand it.
If you are looking for a good fall pattern, just close your eyes and go to sleep for a couple weeks. Even that might not be enough time.

Raw day today in Lancaster.
.I'll take this weather anytime in September. Next Wednesday and Thursday temperatures could get close to 90.

Not really sure what happened to the cool air for the upcoming weekend, a lot of forecasts that I'm seeing for Lancaster are for temps in the mid 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
Yea the 12z euro doesn’t really show a nice cool down until late next week.

I had a low of 53 this morning. Only 29 days until fall starts.

Had a sprinkle here on the hill. Literally...
Wow! It seems like there is a stop sign at the river lately.
-
Just had some pea size hail and very heavy rain. It looks like more storms coming behind that cluster.
-
This heat feels fake. Not enough humidity!
-
Picked up 1.14 inches of rain this afternoon. A lot of close lightning strikes as well.

103 with a 77 dew point here.
I can't even imagine living in a place like that. It must be like hell on earth.

I'm sure I'll see plenty of jackets and sweatshirts at the game tonight.
Saying that, it's 85 right now. As usual it's warmer than progged.
Low dews,August sun and some down sloping heats us up. Overnight lows should be closer to forecasted. Cool morning warm afternoon temps just about average. Can't ask for much more this time of year.

What a beautiful early morning! My low this morning was 57. Only 43 days until the first day of fall!
-
I had 2.06 inches of rain today. Three miles up the road was bone dry. This area just keeps on getting hit with storms.

Tried to weed this morning but the ground is rock hard and everything is too dried out to pull up roots.
Crazy! It looks like Ireland around here. The ground is still wet and I have to mow again.

I just got back from a walk across the campus down here...first time in a week my glasses didn't fog up as soon as I walked outside!
This is a nice treat. Only 61 days until fall!

What a difference in airmass! It feels fantastic outside. After last night's rainfall I am sitting at 7.08 inches for the month of July. We definitely need to dry out around here.

Been watching radar and it just seems like it wants to avoid the Harrisburg area. Parts of southern York county has received over 4 to 5 inches in the last two days.
-
Some nasty lightning strikes and heavy rain. Making up for lost time.
-
That storm over southeastern York county is producing continuous thunder! Just a nice gentle rain here.
-
Southern Lancaster and York counties have been the hot spot lately. I had a few drops today so far.

I was snooping around looking at some of the modeling this morning before I saw your post from last night...sure seems like someone MIGHT get a half foot of rain.
No doubt. It is very possible in this setup.

I looked at my point/click forecast and is looks like at least 2 inches.
Yea...I believe certain areas could double that if not more if everything lines up right. The big question is where will the heaviest rain set up.

You will have many of those. I was thinking temps in the 60s to low 70s.
