  1. I will piggyback and say that most moderate La Nina's tend to have variable Decembers where as Jan/Feb tend to be money for the region. If there is something in those Decembers it is usually the last week of December. I know that people are getting antsy but I'd like to point out for example 10-11 DTW had 9.2" in December and ended with 69"+ and that December NYC got crushed with the Boxing Day storm and heavy snow in January but they were largely done by Feb 1st, where as most of this region saw most of their snow that month.
  2. Gotta watch the bank clock, hopefully it don't hit 37.
  3. Actually not hating the trends I am seeing tonight so far. HRRR and NAM coming in a bit juicier for SEMI. Probably still a 1-3"er but some spots could eek out a bit more.
  4. It gives an out for businesses to cut corners, it is incredibly stupid and dangerous, which is why it is being considered.
  5. He really is, all we hear is SSW is coming from him until it happens then he congratulations himself.
  6. Yeah gotta remember 10-11 they had a boxing day storm in NYC.
  7. I would give anything for 07-08, perfect roller coaster winter with literally everything even severe.
  8. East-based -NAO can be especially for the eastern half of the subforum.
  9. No you are fine, its just someone coming along to complain. It is very easy to not post in this thread.
  10. Need all of that shifted west some, not impossible but still work needing to be done.
  11. As did Obama, Bush, and Clinton.
  12. I wouldn't be so quick to say this considering some of the side effect that are showing up even in children.
  13. You bring up mental health and your reply to someone you are assuming may have an issues is "get some fresh air". How about you get some god damn brains for once.
  14. This is also true, these are the same people that if the topic was brought up a year ago wouldn't even remotely want to fund it but if anything would want it cut. I am glad to know I have been on the right side of this one from the get go.
  15. I really don't think people are forgetting mental health. People have been clamoring for mental health funding for years only to have it fall on deaf ears. It is that funding that would be in place for situations like this.
  16. Hospitalizations are going to eventually flatline because there is a finite limit to beds.
  17. There haven't even been declines, anyone that thinks we are going toward any sort of immunity is just an idiot. We won't have any sort of appreciable immunity until the vaccine.
  18. Lol, nothing like a "Why is Chicago not Mount Rainier or Yellowknife" post on December 4th.
  19. I would give a lot of things for the severe season 1991 had not just locally but nationally.
  20. The irony of you saying this when you post empty nonsense all day long.
  21. This is a lot of words to say nothing. Planning long term, yeah because people saw a crippling pandemic coming. Man you should just stop while you are severely behind.
