  1. It is 53 here, with a north wind behind a cold front, in February. Totally normal.
  2. No one cares and you whine way too much about it. Furthermore I explained why it doesn't happen here and why it does for Chicago. You either don't care to read for comprehension or you are just being a troll who needs attention.
  3. April 2012 was colder than March 2012 here at DTW. That's how insane it was above normal
  4. He just have unrealistic expectations for this location and loves to whine about them.
  5. And that one folk is right, no matter how sour you are. Going into March last year, no one expected the amount of snow most of us got, if you did you are lying. Not saying its likely but it is far from impossible.
  6. Some of the anomalies out there for this month are going to be incredible.
  7. Right, because an all time historic storm is the weight measure. When you say something this ignorant it just proves you are being disingenuous to the discussion. Oh and this entire state has seen bigger storms too if you are going to go with top end values.
  8. 07/16 big severe in May in the plains May 1983 solid everywhere including locally.
  9. I can see grass here too because it all melted already
  10. Yes it did, they got enhancement off of Lake Michigan throughout the storm. It absolutely contributed to their totals.
  11. It would be shocking if we jumped to something like that. It doesn't look to remain locked in with a pattern like that but it does show early spring potential.
  12. We get more lake effect through the year, while you guys can get more bigger lake effect hits its generally smaller through the year and some years can be next to nothing. We get quantity, you get quality.
  13. Boy toward the end of the 12z GFS run would be one for the ages with respect to warmth and potential severe weather. That is also in the period where the GEFS is hinting at a significant trough out west ridge in the east.
  14. The only reason they do is because of Lake Michigan, by the numbers they also get less snow yearly and we get more of the 6-10" snows.
  15. Yeah I'll step in here, we don't need to be calling people out and arguing because the period is boring. That is just not a good way to board.
  16. Quite shocking how hard it is snowing even behind that band. I have been at 1/4SM here at Metro for over a half hour now.
  17. I get you are trying to have a rosy disposition here, but that look going into March would be a back breaker for potential late season snowfall. No nothing is impossible but that would be a very bad look and kill a lot of cold in our cold source region.
  18. If this happens forget about any late season wintry weather. You will have no source region for cold at that point.
  19. I would have to imagine if this doesn't change dramatically in the next week we will be in for an early spring in michigan. Most of our early spring is moderated by ice covered lakes.
  20. I would consider this a tornado, looks like a ground swirl down there and you are at least half way down as well. Amazing shot though!
  21. This would have been great if it was a month later.
